KLZE Kompressor

Finally we installed the kompressor on the klze right today. I must say, thanks to MIKEEEEE, you'll see him in Köthen with the beautiful klze and nitrous charged mx-3.

Oke, it isn't completly installed, so I probably won't make it to Köthen, however, I will try!! If it's possible I'll still come!!

What it sounds like.. a combination between an airplane and a f1 car! The sound is just sick, not like any other car you ever heared before, it scary as hell.

However, I'll keep you guys update and pics are soon to follow

oh thats really nice,

witch "kompressor" have you installed? Eaton? Z-Enginnering?
What about the modification on the Engine? Lower Compression? Tell us a little bit more!!!

i also want to install a kompressor....i think about a m63 or m64 eaton with bypass to get 0,3 to 0,4 bar.
i hope i can come to köthen on saturday... :rolleyes:

I want some technical details....we plan also an Kompressor installation on a KF and a KL. So let me see what you have installed.

What about the ECU? Do you have installed the Mega Squirt or something else?

Okay, well the prototype is 90% done, everything needs a finetune, install the polished parts, some new brackets for the radiator and move the battery to the back. But atleast she's running!!

About the setup:
- Eaton m64 clutched kompressor setup (yes, I can switch it on and off with a switch!!)
- Cartech Fuel Mangement Unit
- Millercycle 280cc injectors
- A load of guages
- Powdercoated custom made brackets for the kompressor
- Powdercoated custom made driveshaft
- Custom Alternator pulley
- 2 blow off's
And a couple of minor things.

Powergoal: 300 PS

The smoke you see is from a slipping belt, needs some adjusting, but the sounds speaks for itself. When I have some time to work on the car again I'll shoot a new vid.

what things do you have changed on the engine? Nothing??? :-)

They are the only components? What about oil cooling ...? With that setup you will not have long fun with the Engine!

What about the preasure and the air temperature? Give us more information....

what about prices?

Mit wenig "Ladedruck" kann man den Kompressor auch ohne LLK fahren, kein Problem. Aber bei 50% angestrebter Mehrleistung, sollte da zwingend was gemacht werden, schon richtig ... 8o

Da wird jede Poilzeikontrolle zu nem Schauspiel, wenn man den dezenten Sound erklären darf ! :D

Bei dem: http://videos.streetfire.net/search/mant…48acf583704.htm lacht keiner mehr über den "funny" Sound, nach ner 10.77 auf der 1/4 Mile ! 8)

if you installed a supercharger with the powergoal of 300horsepower, than you MUST cool down the air because the compression heated the air!

He said that he installed a costume pulley so he had set the rotation of the supercharger higher, so you have more boost @ the engine. When nothing on the engine has changend and the compression of the air is high you have more temperatur. The valves must be better and many other stuff.

Please Bastian tell us more, otherwise wie must speculate.

This is for Race using! If you want to fill up the Water each day, than this is a good alternativ than air intercooling system. For normal use only you better install a intercooling system when you have mor boost than 0.3 BAR. Your engine will be thankful :)

Du kannst dir auch einen 5l (oder mehr) Tank in den Kofferaum setzen. Tanken ist ja auch nicht nur was für Rennfahrer, oder? *g*

Also am Wochenende haben wir in Köthen ja einen 626 mit Wasser-Methanol Einspritzung gesehen und das sah recht vernünftig aus - nur macht es bei einem Sauger mit der Verdichtung wenig Sinn.
